If you have received an email from nickalexander.author@gmail.com please note that this is the beginning of some kind of scam. I have never owned this address, and the author, despite what they claim, is not me.
The messages are clearly written by AI. I’m not sure what the long game is yet, but probably to befriend and then at some point beg for money.
If you know me, you can tell, because a) I never send emails quite that boring and b) I never beg for money… 😉
